Tragic Ending for Indiana Amber Alert Children
I wrote about the abduction at knifepoint yesterday of Collin & Monte Walker by their father in Terre Haute, Indiana. Unfortunately the case turned deadly for four-year-old Collin Walker, his father stabbed him to death. Could this kidnapping have been handled differently by law enforcement? According to this article from WTHR Indianapolis News an Amber Alert should have been called earlier:
Police say Walker took his children at knife point from their grandparents Terre Haute home at around 1:00 pm Tuesday. Teresa Walker recently filed for divorce, calling her husband mentally unstable and threatening.
