Missing and Murdered Children

Detectives have been working around the clock trying to identify and locate the little girl video taped being sexually assaulted for approximately 30 minutes by an unknown adult male. The efforts of the detectives, with the help of the public, has produced approximately 4,000 tips and some interesting results.

Late this afternoon it was reported that the girl has been located alive and safe with her family. I will be removing her pictures from the site and any reference to her name. Continue reading

There are a large number of homeless shelters in the greater Los Angeles area. Many are funded by the United Way and other benevolent organizations. Recently I viewed a commercial on television where they discussed the ‘new’ way of helping people in need of help. Instead of offering a hot meal and a handout they offer a place to stay, counseling if needed and a way to get a job either such as assisting in creating a resume.

Social Workers are a part of that mix of people who are employed at the shelters to assist the people in need. Continue reading
