GA Amber Alert - Brittany Simone Eddy
Amber Alert Issued for: Georgia - Statewide
Victim Name: Brittany Simone Eddy (some news organizations are spelling the first name Brittney.)
Suspect Name: Lisa Hudson
Circumstances: On Saturday, July 26 at approximately 3 p.m., it is alleged that Brittany was abducted by her aunt, Lisa Hudson from Austell, Georgia. Austell Police along with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation have activated a Levi's Call as of 12 a.m. today. Levi's Call is the equivalent of most other states' Amber Alerts.
Brittany Simone Eddy is a 13-year-old Black female with black hair and brown eyes. She stands 5'4" tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds. Brittany has shoulder-length hair.
The alleged abductor, Lisa Hudson is a 40-year-old Black female with black hair and brown eyes. Lisa Hudson is 5'8" tall and weighs approximately 140 pounds.
Lisa Hudson is believed to be traveling in the direction of Gwinnett County, GA in a blue four-door Chevrolet with an unknown GA tag.
Anyone having information is asked to call the Austell, Georgia police department at 1-(770) 944-4331
July 28, 2008 - 5:30p.m. PST: The Amber Alert for Brittany has been lifted even though she has not been located. Law enforcement at this point believe she is no longer in danger.
11:30 p.m. PST: Brittany has been located and she is safe according to police. They believe the disappearance was due to some sort of family dispute.
