Suspect Vehicle Description: None
Circumstances:
The girlfriend of Molicia's father told authorities the last time she saw her she was walking away from their home in the direction of the playground in the 2500 block of Marr Street. She also says she always tells her that 7:30p.m. is the latest she can stay out. When Molicia failed to come back home she called police at 11:30p.m.
Also, something that was out of character for the child to do was she took a shower before she left and put her school clothes back on. Usually, according to the girlfriend, Molicia takes a shower and then puts her pajamas on. Both the friend of the family and the girlfriend of the father stated that Molicia left the apartment without saying anything. So I guess they were not the last people to see her walking towards the playground.
Ok, so she was walking towards the playground. Was she going there to play or was there some sort of function she was planning to attend or participate. She is only 10-years-old and they waited until almost midnight to notify police. I just don't get that.
The mother was interviewed on camera and she believes either her daughter is somewhere and is aftraid to come home because she thinks she might be in trouble for being late, or someone has her and something has happened to her.
I am hoping the girl is somewhere and is afraid of getting into trouble for being late.
Police have sent out two 'Missing Child Alerts', the last one being city-wide and county-wide. Approximately fifty searchers on horseback are searching in the woods and they are also canvassing the neighborhood door-to-door with Molicia's picture. Bloodhounds are also being used in the search. The bloodhounds did have some hits but they were at places the little girl frequents.
There has also been some information that Molicia was seen walking with a 14-years-old male.
If you have any information about Molicia's whereabouts, please call 9-1-1. There is one 9-1-1 operator assigned only to Molicia's case.

Police searched many different apartment complexes where Molicia is known to frequent without success. They also visited businesses in the area of her home to see if Molicia could be spotted on any survellance video, but that search also proved to be fruitless. Today they will focus on Molicia's school; they will speak with her friends to see if they can be of help in finding the child.
Authorities will also search a walking trail near her home. However, today's ground search is scaled back somewhat until further tips are received.

Molicia returned home this afternoon on her own. Her father says she does not want to say where she has been since Monday night. Police are questioning her to find out where she has been since Monday night. I am glad she is OK. Although, it appears from the video she was crying. -
