Single Parenthood - Avoid the Train Wreck of Murder

I have been sitting here contemplating this year’s recent child murders that had the component of single parenthood.
I was a single parent for a period of time and I did not have the skills necessary to be a good single parent. The truth is that I should never have been a parent. I was not prepared for the immense responsibility and dedication required to be a good parent. My daughter was lucky that nothing horrible happened to her such as what happened to Sarah Lunde, Jetsetta Gage, Evelyn Miller, and Davion Mutts. We can only imagine at the time of this writing how things might turn out for Lydia Rupp, the eight-year-old recently kidnapped by her mother’s live-in boyfriend. Things do not look good at this point if what has happened throughout this year to other children in similar circumstances is an indicator.
