Missing and Murdered Children

Two children shared the same unfortunate spotlight in the news over the Fourth of July weekend last year. Evelyn Miller from Floyd, Iowa was reported missing from her home in the early morning hours of July 1st. Six days later Evelyn's body was found in the Cedar River not far from her home. Not much has happened in solving Evelyn's murder.

Suspicions were cast upon her mother as well as two acquaintances of her mother and the mother's live-in boyfriend, Casey Fredrickson. A few months after Evelyn's murder, Casey Fredrickson was indicted on unrelated charges for possession of child pornography on his home computer. He is currently awaiting trial on those charges.
