Missing and Murdered Children

I have been spending the holidays with my daughter and grandchildren for the past week so it has been difficult to keep my blogs up-to-date as well as my websites.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. It is my hope that many of the missing will be found during this holiday season and the families of the murdered will have some closure.

Aarone Thompson’s body has not been found. An interesting development over the past couple of days is that in late October Aarone’s father turned in a request to a charity for Christmas presents for his children. When the charity was processing the request this month they recognized the family name and noticed that Aarone’s name did not appear on the list of children from the Thompson family. The charity immediately called law enforcement to let them know of the registration form missing Aarone’s name. Shelley Lowe, the girlfriend of Aarone’s father, gave birth this past weekend and CPS took custody of the infant. Continue reading

I am trying to understand why a parent who had murdered a child would report that child as missing 1 1/2 years after the fact. It would seem to me that a secret like that kept for so long would be kept as a secret and taken to the grave. Continue reading
