Amber Alert Issued for: North Carolina - Statewide
Victim Names: William Alexander Benitez
Suspect Names: Antonio Dejesus Granado and other unnamed individuals
Circumstances: At approximately 1a.m. today several persons, including the named suspect, stormed into Benitez' Madison, North Carolina home. It was reported there were two carloads of individuals involved. After taking some money and a few other items from the home, Antonio Dejesus Granado forced the victim to leave the home, allegedly at knife point. The abduction occurred at approximately 1p.m. The victim and suspect were last seen in a black Honda Civic with Texas plates. However, that car was later located wrecked and abandoned in Guilford county.
