OH Amber Alert - Ella & Marteen Casey
An Ohio Amber Alert has been issued this afternoon for 16-year-old Ella Casey and 16-month-old Marteen Casey. They have allegedly been abducted by Marteen Casey’s 29-year-old father Prisciliano Quinones.
I just don’t get it. How can a minor have a child by an adult male and that adult male not be in prison for having sex with an underage girl?
Either way, according to the news report from the online edition of the Newark Advocate, police are not sure at this point if Ella went willingly with Prisciliano or she was forced to go against her will. They are treating the case as an abduction. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has released the poster as an Endangered Missing case.
The article also stated police believe they are no longer in Ohio and may be en route to either Florida or Mexico.
Ella Casey is a 16-year-old white female. She has brown hair and blues. Ella is 5′6″ tall and weighs approximately 238 lbs.
Marteen Casey is a 16-month-old White/Hispanic male. He has black hair and brown eyes. Marteen is 20″ tall and weighs 25 lbs. Marteen is the abductor’s biological son.
Prisciliano Quinones (AKA: “Chano”) is an Hispanic male with brown hair and eyes. He stands 5′5″ tall and weighs approximately 140 lbs. He is Marteen’s biological father and Ella Casey’s boyfriend.
They are believed to be traveling in a 1992 maroon Ford Taurus with Ohio license plate DVN4446.

The abductor in this case - the 29-year-old boyfriend of the 16-year-old girl was living with the girl’s parents. I just do not get it and yes I am judging this woman. Now she asks for help.
“…Casey’s mother, Karen Casey — with whom Quinones, Ella Casey and her son reportedly have been living with — told NBC4 her daughter has threatened to take the child and run to Mexico, and entries in her diary indicate that was her plan.
NBC4 reported Casey climbed out of a window around 2:30 a.m., taking Marteen with her. Karen Casey also told NBC4 her daughter took her and Marteen’s Social Security cards and birth certificates, along with some money.
Newark Sgt. Dave Haren said police are doing everything possible to notify officials across the state and at the Mexican border to prevent the three from getting that far.
“We’ve tried to notify everything between here and there,” Haren said…”2
Update: November 27, 2006 9:03 p.m.
The Amber Alert issued for Ella and Marteen Casey was lifted today even though they are still missing. It was not clear why authorities lifted the Amber Alert.3
